The culminating student-led conference for the 2023-2024 academic year was held successfully on Friday, June 28th. This innovative approach empowered students to showcase their learning journeys and work directly to their parents. It fostered a strong home-school connection, promoting collaborative support for student growth.

6月28日，周五，在融合部小學(xué)英文班，成功舉行了2023-2024學(xué)年的學(xué)生主導(dǎo)家長會(huì)議。這次會(huì)議為學(xué)生提供了一個(gè)很好的機(jī)會(huì)，讓他們向家長展示自己的學(xué)習(xí)過程和作品。同時(shí)，這也是加強(qiáng)家校合作、共同支持學(xué)生成長的有益平臺(tái)。

什么是學(xué)生主導(dǎo)型家長會(huì)？

Student-led conferences play a vital role in the IB-PYP learning journey as they empower students to take ownership of their learning process, fostering responsibility and enhancing their management and communication skills. During these conferences, students act as mini-teachers, guiding parents through their academic achievements across various subjects. Additionally, parents have the opportunity to review their child's growth portfolio, gaining valuable insights into their semester-long development and progress.                                                         

學(xué)生主導(dǎo)型家長會(huì)是IB-PYP學(xué)習(xí)旅程中必不可少的一部分，它使學(xué)生能夠更好地掌握自己的學(xué)習(xí)進(jìn)程，為自己的學(xué)習(xí)負(fù)責(zé)，同時(shí)也有助于提高學(xué)生的組織能力、交流能力。學(xué)生們將主導(dǎo)這場會(huì)議，變成一位小老師，向家長展示自己各學(xué)科的學(xué)習(xí)成果。家長們還觀看了孩子的成長檔案，了解孩子一學(xué)期以來的成長與進(jìn)步。

Student-led conferences provide a relaxed and enjoyable platform for communication between students, parents, and teachers. They foster a deeper understanding between home and school, promoting student growth together. By cultivating a sense of ownership in students, strengthening communication skills, encouraging reflection, building stronger home-school relationships, and instilling lifelong learning skills, student-led conferences can better promote the holistic development of students. Additionally, they can establish effective home-school communication mechanisms and contribute to creating a pure learning environment.

這次由學(xué)生主導(dǎo)的會(huì)議為學(xué)生、家長和教師提供了一個(gè)寬松愉快的交流平臺(tái)，有助于加深家校間的相互理解，共同促進(jìn)學(xué)生成長。通過培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的主人翁意識(shí)、強(qiáng)化溝通技巧、推動(dòng)反思，建立更牢固的家校關(guān)系以及掌握終身學(xué)習(xí)技能，可以更好地推動(dòng)學(xué)生全面發(fā)展，同時(shí)也能夠建立高效的家校溝通機(jī)制，為創(chuàng)造純凈的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境做出貢獻(xiàn)。
